I en skrytemail fra Stanley Gibbons (SG) ble det kunngjort at de hadde kjøpt de supersjeldne frimerket – 1c magenta fra British Guiana. Jeg tenkte da umiddelbart: Hva skal SG med dette? De er ikke akkurat kjent for å ha hatt verdens beste økonomi, og har slitt enormt de siste årene. Så da blir det veldig rart å bruke mellom 70 og 80 millioner kroner på noe som ikke gir avkastning og som kan bedre økonomien. Men om man leser mailen så ser man at de vil finansiere kjøpet etter Coop-modellen” (litt ditt). Du kan kjøpe en aksje (andel) og bli medeier av frimerket. Om de klarer å lure nok samlere til å investere i denne typen “aksje” blir spennende å se. Jeg tror heller jeg vil bruke mine penger på noe jeg disponerer fullt og helt – selv. Vel, siste ord er vel ikke sagt i denne saken som oser av spekulasjon og utnyttelse av samlere.
